The striking relief decoration is one of the manufacturer's best-known designs and is often referred to as a pineapple design. At the same time, the sculptural surface is reminiscent of fish scales or the scales of a koi carp – an association that is beautifully echoed by the extraordinary lampshade.

The vase combines a strong red-orange glaze with a rich green, which effectively highlights the sculptural structure of the relief. Despite its compact size, the ceramic has a strong presence and is one of the characteristic designs of West German Pottery.

The handcrafted lampshade was covered with a high-quality Japanese cotton fabric. The large-scale koi motif in red, blue, grey, and natural tones harmonizes perfectly with the vase's glaze, creating an unusually cohesive connection between ceramic and textile design. The recurring scale patterns of the vase and fabric intertwine, giving the lamp an almost narrative effect.

Dimensions:
– Total height of the lamp: 40 cm
– Vase: 16 cm high
– Lampshade: 20 × 20 cm

Conversion to a lamp
The original Jasba vase was carefully converted into a lamp. No drilling was carried out, so the original condition of the ceramic and thus its collector's value are preserved. The construction can be fully reversed.

Technology – two variants possible:

Wireless variant (standard):
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb, which can be charged via a USB-C cable. Lighting duration up to 12 hours. The bulb can be repurchased at any time for approximately 12 Euros. The LED bulb is suitable for outdoor use. It can be dimmed via the included remote control – multiple light colors are adjustable. Due to its wireless use, the lamp is particularly suitable for places without a direct power connection, such as on a balcony, terrace, or in the garden.

Also available with cable upon request:
Alternatively, the lamp can be supplied with a classic E27 socket and cable.

An extraordinary unique piece that combines the expressive ceramic aesthetics of West German Pottery with Japanese textile art.
