Bodo Mans was one of the formative designers of the West German Pottery era in the 50s to 70s. His works are characterized by sculptural reliefs, expressive glazes, and a distinctive design language - qualities that this small vase impressively combines.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"443\" data-end=\"940\"\u003eThe light blue \/ turquoise Fat Lava glaze is accented by a striking, circular relief in green and yellow tones. As a deliberate contrast, the vase was combined with a handmade lampshade made of high-quality cotton fabric. The translucent fabric is a design from the Signapur series by Westfalen Stoffe. The large-format leaf motif picks up the colors of the ceramic and gives the lamp a modern, botanical lightness.
