Our lampshade studio
We produce lampshades. We reupholster old lampshades or create entirely new ones. You can choose the shape, size, and fabric.
Our lamp bases include unusual lampshades. Unfortunately, the standard selection in Germany all too often tends toward plain or small-patterned fabrics. Or the lampshades are made with opaque decorative fabrics or gold-coated lamp foil, which prevents any light from passing through the lampshade. In short: we struggle to find suitable lampshades. That's why we've set up our own small lampshade production facility. Currently, 90 percent of the lampshades come from our own studio.
When manufacturing the lampshades, it's important to us that they allow light to pass through. This is essential for a lamp that creates a beautiful atmosphere. The colors or pattern of the cover should be effective both when the lamp is switched off and when it's switched on. If the pattern creates a beautiful play of light on the wall, all the better.
We primarily use handcrafted fabrics and papers. Through Etsy and other international portals, we've found a selection of suppliers from whom we regularly purchase fabrics and paper.
We offer fabric or paper covered umbrellas in the following sizes:
15 x 20 cm and 15 x 25 cm: 45 - 80 euros
20 x 25 cm and 20 x 30 cm: 60 - 95 euros
25 x 30 cm and 25 x 35 cm: 70 - 110 euros
30 x 30 cm and 30 x 35 cm: 80 - 125 euros
35 x 35 cm and 35 x 40 cm: 95 - 140 euros

Our woven yarn umbrellas
In addition to lampshades covered with fabric or paper, we also manufacture lampshades using the woven technique. For this, we cover lampshade baskets with yarns made of various materials. Our customers particularly like the lampshades covered with thin T-shirt fabric. The advantage: different colors can be combined very well.
In this way we can We manufacture lampshades in the color schemes of our customers' choosing – to match their interior design. The baskets are available in various sizes. The density of the fabric – and thus the light transmission – can also be varied, depending on whether the lamp is intended to illuminate its surroundings or simply itself.
