Japandi vase lamp made from vintage Japanese ceramic

This delicate accent lamp was upcycled from a vintage Japanese vase and combines the serene aesthetic of the Japandi style with expressive textile design. The compact vase impresses with its soft shape, two elegantly curved handles, and a beautiful flowing glaze in shades of turquoise, green, and cream.

Particularly appealing is the gentle color gradient of the glaze, reminiscent of water, mist, or weathered coastal landscapes. Despite its compact size, the vase appears very sculptural and possesses an exceptionally harmonious aura.

The handmade lampshade is covered with a high-quality fabric featuring large floral motifs in golden yellow, black, petrol, and natural tones. The bold floral shapes create an exciting contrast to the subdued ceramic and give the lamp a modern, homely feel.

Conversion to a lamp
The original vintage vase was converted into a lamp in a way that protects the object. No drilling was carried out, so the original condition of the ceramic and thus its collector's value are preserved. The construction is fully reversible.

Technology – wireless & flexible:
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb, which can be charged via a USB-C cable. Lighting duration up to 12 hours. The bulb can be repurchased at any time for approximately 12 Euros. The LED bulb is suitable for outdoor use. It can be dimmed via the included remote control – multiple light colors are adjustable. Thanks to its wireless use, the lamp is particularly well suited for places without a direct power connection, such as on a balcony, terrace, or in the garden.
