Price for lamp including shade and wireless bulb
This small cordless table lamp was upcycled from an original Scheurich vase from the 1960s/70s. The bottom marking of the vase is of course present. With its classic amphora shape and the unusual red-black speckled drip glaze, it is one of the characteristic designs of West German Pottery. The shape and decor were designed by Heinz Siery, who is considered one of the most important ceramic designers of that period.
The lively glaze is reminiscent of glowing lava or coral reefs and develops new color nuances depending on the incidence of light. This organic surface in particular makes each vase unique.
The handcrafted lampshade was covered with a high-quality cotton-linen fabric. The motif with stylized lionfish picks up on the color scheme of the ceramic and elegantly continues the maritime theme. The fine woven structure of the fabric ensures a pleasantly soft light diffusion and brings out the warm red and natural tones particularly beautifully. The ceramic and fabric appear to be perfectly coordinated.

Conversion to lamp
The original Scheurich vase was converted into a lamp in a way that preserved the object. No drilling was carried out, so that the original condition of the ceramic and thus its collector's value are retained. The construction can be completely reversed.
Technology – wireless & flexible
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb, which can be charged via a USB-C cable. Lighting duration up to 12 hours. The bulb can be repurchased at any time for approx. 12 euros. The LED bulb is suitable for outdoor use. It can be dimmed with the included remote control – several light colors are adjustable. Thanks to its wireless use, the lamp is particularly suitable for places without a direct power connection, such as on a balcony, terrace or in the garden. A lovingly crafted unique piece that combines the expressive ceramics of West German Pottery with a finely woven designer fabric. The harmonious combination of the lively glaze and the delicate lionfish motif makes this lamp an atmospheric accent light for sideboards, shelves or windowsills.
