Large Mid Century Modern table lamp by Peill & Putzler - restored

Base: Vintage table lamp with a large shade in red opal glass by the German manufacturer Peill & Putzler, who were internationally renowned for their mid-century design of glass lamps. Mouth-blown and in immaculate condition. The beautiful glass color is particularly well-illustrated by the interior lighting. When switched on, it displays this very typical mid-century design with the brass-colored finishes on the base and upper glass body. Dimensions: Lamp body total height 45 cm, diameter 25 cm. Shade diameter 35 x 43.

The electrical system has been completely overhauled by an electrician, and all electrical components are brand new – including cables, plugs, and rocker switches - rated for up to 250 volts. The lamp is backward compatible with an E26 bulb and is also suitable for a 120 volt connection.

The lamp can be placed on a table, sideboard, or occasional table as an eye-catcher, creating a beautiful ambiance.

Shade: Design Roomlight Studio. Drum-shaped, covered with marbled paper in antique pink, red, olive green, brown, black, and off-white.
