Vintage Table Lamp Made from Scheurich Ceramics with Space-Age Shade

This wireless accent lamp was crafted from an original vintage vase by Scheurich Keramik from the 1960s/70s. Its compact, bulbous shape is characterized by an extraordinary glaze featuring a fine, reptilian-like pattern and organic floral structures. Particularly, the vibrant blue coloring gives the ceramic an almost cloud-like depth, making the small vase very present despite its modest size.

The vase has been combined with a handmade lampshade made from high-quality Italian design fabric. The motif depicts a surreal Space-Age landscape in intense blue, orange, and pink tones, reminiscent of futuristic illustrations from the 70s. The warm light creates an almost picturesque room ambiance.

Conversion to a lamp – object-friendly & reversible:
The vase was converted into a lamp without drilling or irreversible modifications. The original ceramic body was completely preserved, thus maintaining the character and collector's value of the vintage ceramic.

Technology – wireless & flexible:
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb and can be charged via USB-C. Lighting duration up to approx. 12 hours. The bulb is dimmable, and different light colors can be set via remote control. Replacement bulbs are easily available at any time. Thanks to its wireless use, the lamp is ideal for sideboards, shelves, bedside tables, or even balconies and terraces.
