Collection: Pop Weave Collection: Table lamps made from Fat Lava vases with Pop Weave thread shades

Our new Pop Weave Collection combines two phenomena of mid-century design: expressive Fat Lava ceramics from the 1960s and 1970s and handcrafted lampshades with graphic thread weaves. The vibrantly colored shades are reminiscent of the airy structure of the legendary Acapulco Chairs, bringing movement, transparency, and lightness to the striking ceramic forms.

Each lamp is created from an original vintage vase by manufacturers such as Scheurich, Bay Keramik, Jasba, Dümler & Breiden or Übelacker. The distinctive ceramics are carefully converted into lamps and combined with specially made shades, whose woven structures dissolve the light into fine lines and vibrant color gradients.

Heavy, sculptural glazes meet delicate textures, traditional ceramics meet contemporary craftsmanship. The result is a collection that captures the optimism and joy of color of Pop Art without appearing historical – distinctive, playful, and surprisingly modern.

Each lamp is unique and at the same time part of a coherent collection. Different shapes, colors, and manufacturers enter into a dialogue with each other and can be presented individually or combined as a group – like a small gallery of light, ceramics, and color.
